Deleting lines question ?

  Many times I will make a line in a document by typing the dash or hyphen key
a few times and hitting return, making a line across my page.

  How can I delete or cut this line out ?

That is a paragraph border set as a result of you
AutoCorrect>AutoFormatAsYouType Settings.
