Whilst running word 2000SR1 and a game simultaneously, word crashed bringing
up an error report which I duly sent to Microsoft,
When I tried to run word the error report came up again and word would not
open, I have tried re installing word, and restoring my computer to a point
before the game was installed, but to no avail. Also outlook express seems
to be affected somehow it does not ask me for my password and will not send
or receive e-mails.

Please help me

P.S. no other office programme is affected

It sounds as if your problem with OE is really with dial-up networking. You
will probably need to ask about that in an OE newsgroup, but if you get
repeated requests for your password (even though you enter it), it may be
that your Rna.pwl file is damaged. See "Dial-Up Networking Password Is Not
Saved" at
