Hi,
I recently reformatted my harddrive and reloaded onto it MS Office 4.3.  All
of the programs seem to work EXCEPT Word 6.0.  When I click on Word, it
brings up the main screen, but then it just gets hung up with the hourglass
slightly flickering and doesn't stop unless I go to Task Manager to End Task.
It worked before though.  Any suggestions???? Please Help!
Thanks!

Which version of OS? If it was Windows 2000 or Windows XP, you need to
create a dummy xxxx file. (It is so long since I used it, I cannot remember
the file it thinks it needs: I'm sure that Suzanne or one of the other MVPs
with a sharper memory than me will jump in and remind me!)

It's Share.exe. See “Share.exe Is Not Supported in Windows 95 OSR2, Windows
98 or Windows Me” at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=161619, which has
instructions for creating a dummy Share.exe file.
