every time i start Word, the screen looks fine, but when i start typing the
wording will not go to the right margin. it will always stop about 10
characters to the left of the margin and then go to the next line. nothing
centres properly and if i were to justify everything to the right, the space
would be greater than if it was justified on the left. i think it is a
problem with the program, but if anyone has exoerienced this, please tell me
how to fix it...

Are you using an HP LaserJet printer? Which model? If not, try renaming
normal.dot as normal.bad.
