When I try to open or close Office XP's Word or Excel, this error always pops
up. "Microsoft Visual Basic Compile error in hidden module: DistMon". I can
still use them both, but this error keeps popping up. Thanks for any help.

See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=307410 "You receive a "Compile error
in hidden module" error message when you start Word or Excel".

Well that fixed Word. I tried both solutions listed and Excel still gets the
same error.  Thanks very much.

For Excel you'll find the pdfmaker add-in in the XLStart folder. Did
you check this folder?

Note if you are using profiles then there may be more than one XLStart
folder available. One found in the Office installation path and the
other in your profile. You may want to use Windows Search to locate
it. Also, make sure you are viewing Hidden files and if using Windows
XP make sure you are searching hidden files and folders in Windows
Search found under the Advanced Options.
