keep getting a notice saying I need to update my Windows to Service Pack 3.
I have Service Pack 2 on already.  I click to dowload and install it.  It
then asks for my Works disk, which I don't have one.  I then went into some
area where it said to put in my Microsoft Word disk - trying either disk one
or two.  I tried them both and it still wouldn't install.
I am not sure what to do here.  I went to browse to think it is already on
my computer and it couldn't find anything.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

If you're being asked for your Works or Word disk, you are not updating
Windows but Office/Word. Which is it?

It's asking for my 2002 Microsoft Works disk which I don't even own.  I have
Word on my computer.  I tried putting in a Word disk and it didn't work.
"Installing Office XP Service Pack 3" is what it says.  And then it doesn't
do it.  I am confused and have been lookiing all over the internet for help
on this.  Thanks.

Okay, this is the message it is giving me to put into my cd slot "Works
Suite Word CD or DVD".  I tried my 2002 Word and it didn't work.

It sounds as if the copy of Word that is installed was installed from a
Works Suite CD. If it came preinstalled on your system, the computer
maker/seller should have provided a CD. If the CD provided is not the
correct one, you need to contact the seller to get the correct one.
