ole registration error, word is unavailable?

In Outlook, while attempting to reply to an email I get a message saying
"Word is set to be your e-mail editor. However Word is unavailable, not
installed, or is not the same version as Outlook... An OLE registration
error occurred. Run setup again." Which I did and still get the same
message. Both programs are the same version and installed at the same time.
Can someone tell me what is going on and how to fix it?

I have the same problem and I have tried everything in the KB article (except
telling Outlook to not use Word). This only happens when replying to a
message. Also the full error message is slightly different than the one in
the KB article.

Try running Detect and Repair from the Help menu.
