MS Office Forum / Word / Word Errors / May 2007Email attachments in Word are trying to open in Adobe. Why?
My email attachments that are in Word have started trying to open in Adobe. The attachments then cannot be opened because they were not created in Adobe. Why is this happening and how do I fix this? Are you saying these are Word .doc attachments? Use Start, Run and type in winword /r and press enter, This will reregister Word in Windows and should reassociate .doc back to Word correctly.
