Serious error opening a Word Document

Help,
Word works ok but some documents I open I get the message that the document
is corrupt and it gets disabled. I've tried to enable the document again but
it continues to fail to open. Is there a reason this is happening? The
documents that are disabled open on another pc in the same version of word
without any problems.

It's possible that these documents have been corrupted.
Unfortunately, they sometimes work on some computers and not on
others.  Try this on one of them:
