buffer overrun in Word Application Errors
Hi,all! I have Word 2000 in Office 2000, on Windows 2000. Whenever I try to
open Word, I get the message: "Microsft Virtual C++ Runtime Library.

A buffer overrun has corrupted the program's internal state. the program
cannot safely continue execution and must be terminated."

Sorry - all methods of resolution in the MS KB article didn't help or were
irrelevant. What did help was to uncheck the "spellcheck as you type" box in
word. Checking it again rbought back the err msg. BTW, the environment used
is MSO 2003 SP3 on WINXP SP2. The error seems to have started after
application os the SP3 for Office :-(

Suggestions ?
