I have Word 2003 (11.xxx) SP1.   Occasionally when I highlight some text and
try to drag it to a new location to drop or copy, Word crashes.  Sometimes
there is an error message, sometimes it just locks up with the hourglass icon
on.  If I have several Word windows active, they all lock up or crash.
Anybody heard of this and/or know of a solution?  Thanks very much!

I don't know if misery loves company, but the same thing happens to me (XP
Pro/Word 2003/ SP2). I always get an error message and the files have (so
far) always been recoved unharmed, but it is a PITA to have to be selecting
the recovered versions of open documents to save, renaming them, and then
trying to return to my train of thought as often as I have to. I'd've
imagined that Word would be beyond such petty problems by now.
