The file in MS Word 97 will not print when you click "File" then "Print". The
file crashes or closes. It will print by clicking the printer icon or
highlighting the file in the folder. HELP! Only have the problem in MS Word
97. Running a Dell with Windows XP and an AMD 4400
Thanks for any help!

Fixed it by uninstalling the HP drivers and re-installing them. Also, got teh
latest upgrade for the drivers and, I  believe, I also uninstalled and
re-installed Word. Beyond a lot of uninstalling/re-installing there's nothing
that fixes it. What printer are you using?

Must be someting with the HP drivers, I assume. Given the complexities of
the various programs and incompatibilities, who knows? I have no answer
besides hte uninstall/re-install route. Good luck.

Thanks M.....uninstalling and reinstalling worked....For now! I appreciate
the help!
I have a PowerMac G5 and I never have the quirks I get with my Dell PC. If I
could get the software for a Mac that I use I would never have another PC.
Again M...Thanks!
