we had microsoft word come with the pc, and my child deleted the program, how
could i get it back please help.

Perhaps only the *shortcut* to Word was deleted? Try Start | Run: winword
and see if that starts Word. You could then restore the shortcut.

If Word was really deleted, you should be able to reinstall it from your
installation disks.
