Windows cannot find c:\xxxxxxx - be sure you typed the name correc

Then try again.

Why does this keep coming up. It does not matter what format of word that I
save the document into. This is the most annoying error I have come across in
a while.
Is there a fix for this?

Start Word in safe mode and test to see if you can open documents then. From
Start, Run, type in

winword /a

and press enter. Are you now able to open documents? If so, it is pointing
towards an incompatible third party add-in.
