Hi.
I have a problem using Word for writing documents and using it w/ Outlook to
write messages. In regular mode, after typing approx. 200-400 characters, the
window simply dissapears. No messages, no nothing. The window simply
dissapears. Same thing happens within Outlook and while starting Word in Safe
Mode.
Any suggestions? Anything is appreciated. BTW, all updates installed, OS
WinXP SP3. (I think it also happens on SP2)
TIA.

Is it only the edit pane that disappears (ie does Outlook stay open)? If you
run Task Manager, is winword.exe still listed as running? Have you got a
locally connected printer with a locally installed printer driver that is up
to date and set as the Windows Default?

Hi, thanks for the reply.
The Outlook does stay open. The problem is only within Word. It happens also
when creating a document within Word without use of Outlook.
Winword.exe is not listen. It closes when the window is gone.
I've got Xerox Phaser 6110 connected through USB, WHQL signed, updated to
the latest version.
Just tried it again - and the window still closes.
