Hi,

I have a long document, 260 pages, with bibliography, pictures, tables,
drawings, indexes, etc.

When I open that document, I get the following error: "The Office Open XML
file book.docx cannot be opened because there are problems with the
contents. The file is corrupt and cannot be opened."
Then there is a window "Word found unreadable content in book.docx. Do you
want to recover the contets of this document? If you trust the source of
this document, click Yes."
I click Yes and the document is opened. The Show repairs window has a list
of reapirs: Bookmarks1, Drawn Object 1 ... 125.
I save it under the same name (or new name) and everything is OK.
I close the document and open it again and everything is the same from the
begginig!!!

How can I reapir this document once and for ever?
Thank you

Mitja

Try opening the document using Open and Repair. Then SaveAs and choose RTF
format. Close the document and then reopen it and use SaveAs and choose doc
format.

Possibly. So do it to a COPY of the document.
