...I keep getting on Word start-up add-in template not valid.
~$nereader6.sprint.dot. This appears as a Word open file. I have done a
search on my computer and found a couple of them (have an external hard
drive), and have deleted both. Still get the error. I have a Dell Inspiron
530 with VISTA and have had to re-install my programs several times due to
numerous problems, but have never run across this one before after any
re-install.
Any suggestions? Or am I just going to have to live with it?
Haven't tried re-installing old tried and true Office 2002 yet. Every time
I do I have to go through the update procedure.

This is the owner file for an add-in you have undoubtedly removed. Go to
Word's Startup folder and delete it. Note that Word's Startup folder may be
in a hidden folder; you'll have to set Windows Explorer (or Search) to
display/search for hidden and system files and folders in order to see it.
