Could you get the details of the error message for us?
(Depends on your version of Windows: 98 click "Details",
ME press "Alt-D" on the message screen, XP click "More
Details" and try to decifer the information).

Do you get the error with any other document (even just a
blank document)?  If so, you may have a corrupt printer
driver.  You may want to reinstall your printer software
to make sure (check online first to see if your
manufacturer has anything updated).

Can you print from any other application?  If not, you
have a Windows issue :S - that may necessitate a call to
Microsoft Windows support.

HTH!

Peggy tells me it turned out to be a printer problem; install the printer driver for a different printer to effect the repair. Why that would mess up Word is past me; makes more sense the printer driver would just return an error of some kind. Anyway, if anyone is looking to help Peggy, she tells me the problem is fixed. Thanks
