I installed Works Suite 2002 some time ago.  It included
Word 2002.  I recently had a problem so I uninstalled and
re-installed Word 2002.

Now I cannot find the icon anywhere.  It is not on the
desktop nor the applications menu.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing both Works
Suite and Word multiple times.  But I still cannot get to
the Word 2002 program.  All of the other applications
seem to be there fine.

One more thing, if I go to the Control Panel ==> Add or
Remove Programs Widows displays Word 2002 and will let me
remove it.  Therefore, the application appears to be
loaded. I just cannot get to it to run it.

Thank you for your help,

Rick

Assuming it is installed, have you tried Start, Run and typing in

winword

and pressing OK?

That should launch Word IF it is installed.

And if it is, then search for winword.exe, create a shortcut, and drag it to
your desktop, Start menu, Quick Launch bar, etc.
