Compile Error

Can you Help

when I try to open or save a document a get an error
message stating 'hidden compile error' Whats wrong and
what can I do to rectify this?

The actual message is probably "Compile error in hidden module
such-and-such." See section 4 of

Hi Mark,

It sounds like a macro error in a global template or add-in. Go to
Tools/Templates and Add-Ins and see if there are any global templates
or add-ins listed.

If so they are located in your Word\Startup folder or Office\Startup
folder. If more than one, move them one at a time until you determine
which one is causing the problem.

The location of the Word\Startup folder can be found under
Tools/Options/File Locations and the Office\Startup folder will be
located in the installation path for Office.
