Dear Terry!

I take it you simply responded without trying? This error
a) happens on all machines with all sorts of graphic cards
and drivers for at least 6 years now, consistently!
b) This isn't just a driver problem, because WORD goes
nuts with toggling words and lines over a page break!
Did you try it at all?
Gerry

Hi Gerry,

A little harsh don't you think? Especially since those of us who
support these groups volunteer our time to try and help others. No one
is paid to answer questions, this is a peer-to-peer support forum.

Without this additional but very important tidbit, that it happens on
all machines with various display drivers, your graphics driver would
logically be the first item to rule out.

Now, I attempted to duplicate this behavior but after spending
approximately 30 minutes of trying various scenarios I was unable to
see the problem you describe.

If you would like us to try and reproduce this issue then please
provide specific reproduction steps such as:

Document setup:
- Font/Font Size: Times New Roman 12 pts
- Line spacing: Single
- Space between paragraphs: 8 pts before each paragraph
- etc.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create new document
2. Type =rand(10,8) to insert approximately 1 page of text
3. Go to Format/Columns
4. Select "Two" in the Presets
5. Click OK
6. etc.
