MS Office Forum / Word / Word Errors / March 2004Compile error in hidden module: menu code
Everytime I start word on one particular PC I get the message: "Visual Basic - Compile error in hidden module: menu code". I can cancel past this and use word but the error is so annoying I need to get rid of it. I have followed the advice of the KB and tried everything suggested (uninstalled, reinstalled office, deleted office startup files, renamed/recreated normal.dot etc...) but still the error persists. As I believe I stated previously, you need to change the "Macros in" setting at the bottom of the dialog until you find the one that contains the macro.
