I have many autotext entries and when I click on this,
they don't come up at all.  when i make one again, it
asks if i want to redefine the entry - so it is still
there somewhere, but won't list.

When you click on what the won't come up?? Are you referring to the
AutoText dialog box? If so then make sure "Look in" at the bottom
reflects "All active templates".

Otherwise could you provide some additional details such as are you
referring to the AutoComplete tip? The AutoText menu?
