My computer came with a pre-installed 90 day trial of MS
Office.  I wanted to convert the trial to the full
product.  Rather than purchasing an activation code
online, I bought MS Word 2003 software at a local store.
I installed it, but there is no new icon to open the
newly installed program.  Every shortcut I try opens the
trial version.

Any suggestions?  I would appreciate an E-mail to:

mpparkermd@earthlink.net

Thanks.

I think you should remove the trial (or whatever versions appear when you
use the Add/Remove Software item available from the Control Panel and then
do a fresh installation with the purchased copy
