Hi,

I have a Word 2002 .doc. I used Acrobat 5.0 (Distiller
printer) to convert it to .pdf. But the generated pdf
does not match what I see in Word Print Preview.
Basically the letters in the figure disappeared. When I
used PDFWriter as the printer, the font in figure changed.

I tried Office 2003+Acrobat 5.0 too and still failed.
Anyone has idea of whether there is a requirement on Word
version + Adobe version?

Thanks.

When you run Print Preview, I would expect that Word is formatting for the
default printer. not for the printer you will actually be using.

Fonts may need to be remapped when using the Distiller printer.
