I somehow seem to have created a monster. I was working
with reformating the text of a doc and somehow created a
template that I can no longer get out of and my documents
when I try to open them say they are not available. Does
anyone have an idea of what I did and how to get out of
it. I have a sermon to write but no software to do it
with.!!!
Not quite a burning bush, but nonetheless a sign perhaps? =;-) Sorry,
I couldn't resist!
If you are running Norton Antivirus, try disabling the Office Plugin
that comes with it (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=329820 has
disable instructions for different versions of Norton). Does Word work
better now?
If not, write back with what version of Word and what version of
Windows. Was Word working correctly before this problem suddenly popped
up? Or is this a new computer that you don't have any previous
experience with? What "template" can you not get out of? What happens
when you try to open a Word document? If you get an error message, what
is it?
