Is there any way to convert a WordPerfect 5.1 DOS
document to Word 2002 while keeping all the original
formatting intact?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

WordPerfect printer drivers work slightly differently from Windows printer
drivers. It's impossible for the formatting to be exactly the same in each
program. But if you would spell out exactly what gets damaged in the import,
some of the people here may be able to offer suggestions.

Things like spaces and tabs. Would it work if I convert
the document first to WordPerfect 9/10/11/12 and then
convert it to Word 2002?

Presumably the proportional spacing is different in Windows fonts and
whatever font you're using in WP 5.1. Can't hurt to try the method you
suggest. Why not try it and let us know what happens?
