I've been presented with a load of valuable documentation written on an old
VAX in Data Processing Design's (DPD's) Word-11 and a serious request to
read it.

Google can't find Data Processing Design.  I found them on DECUServe, but
their 800 number is disconnected, and their 714 number is a modem or fax
machine.  Might that mean they're out of business?

Does anyone know how to translate DPD Word-11 documents to Word or anything
else that I might be able to run on a PC or a Mac?

Thanks,
Tony Scandora

Tony,

I have a copy of Star Office, and it will open just about anything. If
you'd like to send me a small document, I'd be willing to give it a
try. Send it to charliehoffp at Yahoo dot com.

G'Day Anthony,

I think you might be unlucky. DEC bought Word-11 from
DPD and integrated it into their "All-In-One" suite.
When WordPerfect gained ascendance, they replaced
Word-11 with that (All-In-Bits?).
I seem to remember a Word-11 to WordPerfect
conversion tool.......
If you were very lucky, someone at HP might be able
to help - they eventually gobbled up DEC (I think).
