Hi Ellen,
What version of Frontpage is being used? Word 2000's
internal file structure was ahead of the clipboard changes
supported by Frontpage 2000, for example, but Frontpage
2003 handles them.
Are you sending them as .doc files or as .htm files?
If you're using .htm files then you may want to download
the Office 2000 HTML Filter from http://office.microsoft.com/downloads
and use the Start=>Programs=>Tools utility it installs to
remove the XML markup that is in the Word files.
=======
I've send Word 2000 documents to a friend who cuts and pastes the text into
Frontpage for publication on his internet site. However, the conversion
keeps coming up with paragraph codes and the following codes between words
<o:p> </o:p>
He doesn't know what they mean and has to remove each by hand.
I do not know where the codes come from. I use a normal style (Times Roman
12, single spacing).
He's converted other Word documents without this complication. The problem
seems to be limited to documents from me.
I use Office\Word 2000 for professionals and Windows 2000 for professionals.
I reinstalled Word only a few months ago. I'm virus free and keep things
up-to-date.
Does anyone know how to deal with the codes? >>

Hi Bob,
Thanks for responding.
They are docs and using FP 2000.
Other people's word docs copy well. I don't know if there are different
versions of Word 2000. I have prof and a lot of updates.
Regards,
Ellen

Hi Ellen,
The first time that MS created multiple versions of
Word and Excel within the same product release was
in Office 2003.
You didn't answer the remainder of the questions.
Do you know if he's opening the documents or using
the clipboard? The clipboard can cause some of the
issues.

Hi Bob,
All I know is he cuts and pastes. And he doesn't have problems with other
people's word docs.
Sorry
