Hi there ...

I would like to provide my users a compiled help file, instead of just
handing out PDF/DOC format. Is it possible to convert a DOC to CHM, with
minimal amount of efforts on areas like index tables etc.?

I doubt, therefore I might be.

Hi Kim,

You may want to post this in the MS Help authoring
newsgroup (link below) for more information on
options/limitations of creating .CHM files using
Word as an authoring tool.

Thanks a bundle, wondering why I didn't spot the group before posting
though.
