CWK (Claris Works, later Apple Works) files can be converted
with 3rd party converters, depending on the version of the app
they're using, but newer versions of AppleWorks can also save to
RTF and other formats that Word can use and it may be simpler to
ask your friend to resave and send.

   A friend sent me a Mac .CWK file which I can't read with MS Word 2000.
   Is there a shareware/freeware program, or Microsoft 'add-in' that will
allow me to convert a Mac .CWK file to an MS Word 2k .DOC/.RTF file or
something I can read with Word 2k?
