Hey, hoping someone can help. I have documents in Word 2003 that I
want to save periodically as plain text files for archive purposes.
I'd like to have a macro do it. The problem is the document has
headers. When I save as a plain text file, the headers get tossed onto
the end of the file.
How can I save as plain text without the headers?
Cheers,

Set your macro to first save your document (as a Word file). Then delete the
headers, then save as a text file.
