The Word 200 spell chekers keeps converting from UK English to US English.
This is a real pain! Any ideas how I stop this once and for all?

also if you choose UK english by default.
You can also try to change de default language of the Normal.dot template.

Set the regional settings of Windows to your locale, then in Word tools >
language > set language > uncheck 'automatically detect'.
Note that each character in Word can have its own proofing language applied.
If you import documents from other sources, it is inevitable that for some
of them that language will be US English.
Whether you the language is UK or US English you actually have to use it
foir it to work - 'chekers'?
