microsoft publisher to word

How do I save or import a microsoft publisher document to
a word document/format, so I can e-mail a publisher
document to someone who does not have publisher

Yoiu can't do it. You can copy the text, and paste it into a file and
send that, but if there are graphics or special formatting, you need
to send a PDF file of the publisher document.... most everyone can
read a PDF. You can "print" a PDF file from publisher using Acrobat,
and there are also some other PDF generation programs available.
