Is it possible to close multiple word documents at once using a shortcut key?

I used Alt, Shift+F and Alt, Shift+C and it doesn't seem to work.

Alt should highlight the File menu. Pressing Shift+F forces the full File
menu to display. One of the displayed items is Close All, for which the
accelerator key is C (not Shift+C, just C).

Is there a shortcut key to close just one document or window?
Suzanne S. Barnhill - 14 Apr 2006 04:24 GMT
Alt, F, C or Alt+F4.

Should that not be Ctrl+F4?

You would think so; that's what I've got on my cheat sheet for function key
commands. Alt+F4 is for Quit Word. And these are also the shortcuts listed
in the "Keyboard shortcuts" Help topic, which is where I thought I got that
shortcut, so I have no clue where that came from!

Which is Alt, Shift+F, C (the OP asked for a keyboard shortcut).
