When I went to create a new document today, the newly created document had no
top and bottom margins and appeared to be shorter than the selected portrait
letter size. (For what it is worth, there was no vertical ruler either.)
Looking at page setup, it correctly showed the page as portrait letter, with
1 inch margins all the way around.
Previous documents open just fine. Normal.dot looks correct when opened.
And the file location for the normal template appears to be correct.
Is normal.dot corrupt? Is there some setting I am missing? Although I have
never seen this problem before when creating new documents.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
