How do I get hyperlinks to change with hyperlink base changes?

I would like to make document so that I can change location of base document
containing hyperlink info without redoing all the hyperlinks.  Existing
hyperlinks do not respond to change in hyperlink base.

Did you find a solution to this?  I have the same issue.

Not yet.  I just gave using the base document and use relative hyperlinks.
