In a word document I have several hyperlinks, when I click on the hyperlink a
security box appears that says "some files may contain viruses and be harmful
to my computer do I want to open?" How do I get rid of this box?

Change the hyperlink target to something inherently harmless, or switch off
your IE security settings (which would be a very silly thing to do).
