how do you see the document in the background when using fill-in?

When the fill-in pops up I need to see the document in the background that
the fill-in is adding to how can I do this?

You can't. The screen just doesn't repaint before displaying the fill-in.

You could create a UserForm to gather data from the user (this involves
macros). Another possibility would be to display relevant text from the
document in the fill-in's prompt.

Does either of these seem a viable option to you?
