Reader is exactly that! To create PDF's you need the Full version: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro/?promoid=BONRX or one of the Utils that Suzanne provided. Reader does not allow you to make anything. It only allows you to read. And I recommend PrimoPDF.
