deleting all entries on right in word

i do not have the option of deleting anything in word and i want to delete
all entries and all entries highlighted on the right, how can i do this

On the General tab of Tools | Options, clear the check boxes for both items
that refer to WordPerfect.

thanks suzanne, not sure if you received last post but they are already
unchecked, i really didn't think it could be that hard but am at a loss what
to try now

Are you using Delete or Backspace?

thanks suzanne, i actually just went into options and unchecked the recently
used files box, even though they are still there, they have gone from list

Well, if I'd had any clue that by "all entries and all entries highlighted
on the right" you meant the MRU list, I could have told you how to do that!
