2 of 3 icons missing on the right of the ruler.....

I don't know what they're called.  The icons on the ruler at the top of
document are missing.  Usually there are 3 stacked on top of each other.  The
left ones are there.   Only the middle one is there on the right.  How do I
fix them so they are back in total again?   To further explain in laymens
terms, the hourglass sitting on the box is what it looks like on the right
side of the ruler....  Anyone help me???

Nope, the "hourglass sitting on the box" is only on the left (unless perhaps
you're using a right-to-left language). They are the Left Indent, Hanging
Indent, and First Line Indent markers. The right side of the ruler has only
the Right Indent, since you can't set a first-line or hanging indent on the
right.
