how do I open saved documents that states I have no privileges

My computer blew and I had the info transfered into brain storage that is
suppossed allow me to access it once linked to my laptop. I have taken
possession of the files  and can open the files but not the documents in the
files. It states I have no privileges.

Can anyone help???

Contact the outfit who stored your documents and ask them.

Copy the file(s) back to your hard drive and open them there.
