Is there a way to determine the creation date of a document? Go to File-Properties and you will find the creation date. If the document is not open, right-click on its icon and you can also access Properties. > Is there a way to determine the creation date of a document? Do note that this date will not stand up to legal scrutiny as such dates can be edited. Ultimately there is no way to determine when a document was created from its content, displayed or hidden.
