I frequently use bullets and used to be able to tab to the new bullet when I
wanted it to move in one like
-blah
    *blah blag
now I'm not sure how it happened but when I tab using bullets now it just
tabs the cursur in from the existing bullet rather than creating a new
indented bullet and I have to use my mouse to the menu in paragraph and press
increase indent it then moves the bullet and changes it to the next level

Please help this is really annoying problem and I don't know why it is
happening AND HOW DO I FIX IT!!!!!!!!

You don't say which version of Word you're using. If Word 2003 or earlier,
try Tools - AutoCorrect Options - AutoFormat as you type, and enable "Set
left- and first-indent with tabs and backspaces". In Word 2007, click Office
button - Word Options - Proofing - AutoCorrect Options... etc.
