I have a word document that contains some tables and some powerpoint slides.
Within the table, I have color (shading) in certain cells.  Same for the
powerpoint slides, there are some colors in the columns.  When I print the
entire document from my color printer, the color piece comes out gray (not
the actual color I have).  But when I print individual page (file-print
-current page) then the color comes out as expected.  Does anyone know why
this happened and what are the fixes to this problem?  Thanks!

From your description, it doesn't sound like something Word-specific. Have
you tried to update the printer driver?

How do I do that (update the printer driver)?  If it is a printer driver
issue, shouldn't I be experiencing the same problem when I tried to print
other documents in color?  This issn't the case for me...I only have problem
printing this document in color.  Any other suggestions that you may have?

Well, since it affects one document only, it probably isn't the printer
driver. It *could* be some kind of document corruption. Deleting any section
breaks and then copying the whole document except for the final paragraph
mark (Ctrl+A, Shift+Left arrow) and pasting (Ctrl+V) into a new document
might help. For more on corrupt documents, see

Problem still exists.  I followed the steps you recommended and also other
procedures as recommended from the link you provided.

When a document is corrupted, do you know whether the entire document will
not print in color or just the section that is corrupted will not be able to
print in color?  Interesting, I just noticed that I was able to print in
color if I print page by page instead of the entire document.  But I still
would like to fix this problem since this is a huge document (60+ pages) and
working document that requires frequent printing.
