Yes a border, but NOT the border you can enter yourself. Its just there and
a small correction it is a Word document and the blue dotted border is on
every line typed for example:
hello my name is pooh (a blue box will appear around this line, and every
successive line after the first one)

You say "work sheets". Are you talking about Word or Excel?
As Suzanne suggest, if you're using Word, it sounds like you've applied a
border. If this is Word 2007, click in an affected line and look at the
border tool in the Home tab and see if it's set to something other than
None. If this is Word 2003 or earlier, choose Format - Borders and Shading -
Borders tab, and see if something other than None is applied under Setting:.

Sorry, did not mean work sheet, it is a word page and each line has a border
made up of blue dots, I did not create the border it is just there around
every line typed!

What version of Word are you using? Is this happening in every document you
create, or just in some?

Herb, Iam running Word 2007 and it doesn't happen all the time, its just
every line or paragraph has this blue dotted box around it so if I want to
copy a line or paragraph to a new document the blue dotted box comes with it
and like I say it does not happen to all documents!
