Ok.  So why is such a popular and professional WYSIWYG word processor not
allowing me to drag my pictures around blocks of text in a WYSIWYG way?

I have a paragraph, a few paragraphs.  Now I want to place a chart or screen
shot or picture of a frog dancing in the streets - doesn't matter.  I INSERT>
PICTURE > FROM FILE, then invariably it's huge so I resize it by dragging the
corners.  Word then repositions text around the smaller, resized picture, and
now I want to place the picture exactly where I want to place it.  So I click
and drag and watch the outline box drag to the spot I want (to the right or
left of some text, below a few lines and above some others), and I release
the mouse button.  And for a split second Word places my picture exactly
there and it's looks beautiful.  WYSIWYG in action.  But then Word decides my
picture would look better at the very top of the page where its covering up
my header, and places it there before I can blink.  I don't agree.  But Word
is quite adamant that my picture looks great up there.

How do I convince Word that I'm right and to let me place the picture where
I want it?
