irun Xp and have office 2003. it takes up too much space and I dont use all componentts. How do i uninstall office2003 and still be able to use Word.Please help. Many Thanks Bev In Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs, select the Office 2003 item and click the Change button. When the setup dialog appears, leave "Add or Remove Features" selected and click Next. On the second screen, uncheck each of the programs you don't want. Everything was going well until I updated and near the end an error message came up sayingit is looking for file PRO11.MSA and Error 1706. Follow the two steps in "If You Already Installed Office 2003" at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/828380.
