In Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs, select the Office 2003 item and click
the Change button. When the setup dialog appears, leave "Add or Remove Features"
selected and click Next.

On the second screen, uncheck each of the programs you don't want. Then click
the Update button, and the setup program will remove the unchecked parts,
leaving the checked ones alone.

Follow the two steps in "If You Already Installed Office 2003" at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/828380. When you do this, be *very* careful with
your spelling; for instance, it's "MSI" and not "MSA".

In that case re-run setup from the original installation CD (to use the
installer on the disc) to customize the installation.

You can try this:

How to Replace Lost, Broken, or Missing Microsoft Software or Hardware
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=326246

You won't be able to do anything without a disc because the error message means
that the installation source that was copied to your hard drive during the
original installation is damaged.
