automatically starting another application when word starts

can somebody help me with this issue, on my pc when i start ms word, endnote
application starts first and then i cancel endnote window then word starts,
can i turn off the option so endnote do not pop-up...help??

Have you tried unistalling Endnote (via Control Panel)?

no i cannot delete endnote as i will need to use it but i just don't want to
appear automatically when my word document starts...thanks for your help

Perhaps there is a web site (or just a help file) for Endnote with
additional information?
